About Tyrvar
Tyrvar is a security questionnaire response platform that turns approved security answers and evidence into reviewed buyer responses for B2B SaaS security and GRC teams.
Your approved security answers live here, each linked to its source: a SOC 2 report, a policy, an attestation. You keep one answer per fact and stop rewriting it for every buyer.
Upload a buyer questionnaire and Tyrvar matches each question to the fact behind it. Matched questions come back answered. The rest are flagged for you, so you see how much work is left the moment the upload finishes.
Every draft is pulled from material you already approved. If your evidence does not support a claim, Tyrvar leaves the question open for you to review. It will not fill the space with something that merely sounds right.
Your team signs off on answers before anything is exported, under approval rules an admin sets. A named person owns every answer the buyer sees, and each exported response is saved as a record that cannot be edited later.
Loopio, Responsive, and Conveyor are built around a library of past answers. Tyrvar stores the security fact itself, once, and points every differently worded question at it. Change the fact and every future questionnaire picks up the change.
The AI extracts answers from documents you approved. It does not write new claims. Checks run on every draft, and any answer that is unsupported or hedged is sent back to you as an open question.
Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, and OneTrust help you get compliant and stay compliant. Tyrvar takes what they produce (the SOC 2 report, the policies) and uses it to answer buyers. See the comparisons.
SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CAIQ tell a buyer where a fact was attested. Tyrvar records that on the answer and moves on. One fact about your encryption answers a CAIQ row, a SIG question, and a buyer's homemade spreadsheet.
Tyrvar shows you the questions it left open as plainly as the ones it answered. You would rather send a buyer fewer answers you can defend than a full sheet you have to walk back.
Troy Karraker founded Tyrvar. He is an engineer who has built regulated financial systems, relational database platforms, and distributed infrastructure. He started Tyrvar after seeing the same security facts asked for again and again, in a new spreadsheet each time, with nowhere permanent to keep the answers.

Today Tyrvar helps vendors answer questionnaires. The bigger bet is that security facts which carry their source and an owner could be shared directly, making most repeat questionnaires unnecessary.
None of that exists yet: no shared network, no auditor recognition, no verified credential. It is where we are headed, and the vendor-side product is how we find out whether it holds up.
Read the working thesisTyrvar is a security questionnaire response platform for B2B SaaS security and GRC teams. It stores your approved security answers and their evidence in a Trust Profile, matches each question in a buyer questionnaire to those answers, and drafts a response that a person on your team reviews before it goes out.
Security, GRC, and trust leads at B2B SaaS companies that sell to enterprise buyers. Most are 50 to 500 employees and answer several security questionnaires a quarter. Tyrvar works best when you already have a SOC 2 report or written security policies to draw from.
Loopio, Responsive, and Conveyor keep a library of past question-and-answer pairs. Tyrvar stores each security fact once, with its evidence, and matches every differently worded buyer question to it. Drafts come only from material you approved. If the evidence is thin, Tyrvar leaves the question open for review instead of guessing.
No. Tyrvar does not monitor controls, run audits, or certify compliance. It takes what your compliance program already produces (SOC 2 reports, policies, attestations) and uses it to answer buyer security questionnaires. Frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are recorded on each answer as its source.
Not yet. Tyrvar is in private alpha and onboarding its first partners, so there are no customer logos, testimonials, or usage numbers to share. The product is live in production today at app.tyrvar.com.
Upload a questionnaire at tyrvar.com/try to see how Tyrvar handles it, then request an alpha spot. The founder runs onboarding personally. Together you choose a first set of evidence and a live questionnaire, and you talk often while you use it.
No. Tyrvar writes completed answers back into the file the buyer sent, starting with spreadsheet questionnaires, so buyers never log in or change how they work. Support for more formats is being added during the alpha.
