What are customer audit logs?
Customer audit logs are records of user and administrator activity inside a software product that the customer can see. They typically capture logins, permission changes, and changes to data or settings, with who, what, and when. Many products let admins export them or stream them to a SIEM.
What the buyer is really asking
This is a product feature question. Can the buyer's admins see who did what in your product, and can they export it? Say which events are logged, how long they are kept, and which plans include them.
Other ways buyers ask it
Every one of these wants the same answer:
- “Do administrators have access to detailed audit logs?”
- “Can audit logs be exported or streamed to our SIEM?”
- “What user activity is captured in the audit log?”
Evidence to have ready
- Product documentation for the audit log
- A sample audit log export
How Tyrvar answers this
Tyrvar treats every wording above as one question. You write the answer once, attach the evidence, and revisit it when your setup changes. Each buyer gets that approved answer no matter how their questionnaire words it. If you have not answered it yet, Tyrvar flags the question for you and does not make something up. Try it on your own questionnaire.
